　The scientists who cloned Dolly the sh
eep are applying for a license to clone
human embryos. Professor Ian Wilmut, of
the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, wants
 to use cloned human embryos to study mo
tor neurone disease (MND). His applicati

logy Authority is expected to provoke cr
iticism that testing human embryos is im
moral.
